Another way that you can use videos to improve your reputation is with influencer videos.  These are cross-promoted videos from different professionals that you can look at as being an influence on your work and career.  Think of it this way:  if you work in fashion and a designer posts a video of a new line of clothing, then you can post a link to that video.  This shows other people what your influences and interests are, which in turn humanizes you and your brand making you more appealing.  It also gets your name out there.  A viewer may find your video posting and realize that while they may not know you, they may know your influencer and are willing to give you a shot because of shared interests.  Finally, an influencer can also go beyond shared products to shared visions.  Motivational gurus such as Zig Ziglar produce outstanding videos that, if promoted properly, can share your vision and brand goals with your potential customers.
